The Today Show and Good Morning America reported that the Jon Benet suspect was married in the South to a 13 year old. He did not have the girl's parents consent, who said she was 12.

Actually after doing some research,I found that the legal age for consent is 14-18 depending on the state.But it illegal for anyone under the age of 18 to consent to sex with an adult and they can be charged with statutory rape,Even in the southern states.

A parent can not legallye give the child permission to sleep with someone over 18.

which state are you talking about? um, no you must have your facts wrong. i live in the south, Tennessee to be exact and your *** will get tossed in prison for 10 years if they even suspect you doing anything with a minor. statutory rape.
