Hey!! Good to know that there are still aspiring writers apart from me out there!
First of all, pick the genre in mind: is your story going to be a biography of someone, a story based on a true event, a futuristic one or a totally fictional one??
To begin a story, try picturing one single individual. Then the characteristics, followed by the story line. While on that, ask yourself these questions: what, why, where, who, when, how. Build up your story based on these questions and add in your characters.
Follow these basic writing rules, let your imagination run wild and you'll do fine!
Good luck!!
