hahahahaha

i really like the way u phrase ur 2nd sentence.

i am sure everyone will envy the social circle of the most popular person. but i am not so sure that everyone will wan to be that.

and even if u are popular, u can still be a nerd and ger good grades.

that will thne really be a sucessful YOU. and that will be the time where ppl will start flocking to ur side.

Are we so preoccupied with ourselves that we forget abt the people ard us? The fact that we are, is making us live very individualistically. We even forget to ask our closest friends a simply :"How's ur day been." Well even if we do the natural response would be a "It's ok." We have simply overlook the fact that we can count on each other that's why we are close friends ain't it?

Can i actually name a person other than my family members who wld be there for me in time of distress? The sad fact is: No. I can already imagine wat they wld say if i call them: "It's too late.", "I dun tink i can go out today", "I've got sch tmr" or "Do u have someone else to call". We are too busy with our own lives that we fail to connect, even as friends, emotionally. I'm not saying we have to be there for each other every single moment of our lives or talk on the phone every nite but the lest we should be doing is to enjoy a certain level understanding.

I know i'm not the only one in the world who feels this way. It's just that i've been doing alot of thinking and had to get this off my bloody chest.

First of all enroll in a remedial spelling course; if getting good grades and being a nerd is a consideration for you, no offense but spelling at college level really is a necessity.

After that and seriously, just have fun and be yourself-as Aristotle said, all things in moderation! Have a good time and make friends but make sure to keep your grades up too. Any decent people you meet will be at least halfheartedly trying to do the same, and you will seem like an idiot and NOT be popular if you are a total airhead who doesn't care about school at all.

It really depends on what you want to be when you are in college.
But all I have to do is give you the circumstances to the two options. First, having good grades doesn't mean you have to be a nerd. You can enjoy your college life and have good grades at the same time. Understand my point? And if that is your case, and you want good grades, you will not have to worry about your future employment because companies will be the one hunting you for ermployment. Get that?
and about you being popular in college, what will be the award you will receive? just the thing that everyone wants to be you. So after your college life, what's next.Do your future employer wants that popularity of yours? Do they know you? Does it help your career? And it is difficult to be popular in college, I will tell you, people would expect too much for you. and if you didnt meet that expections, no girl you're in big trouble! Ive been into collge girl, I am now working in a recuitment agency and I enjoyed my life in college, with good grades, sort of also a popular girl in my Program. Got my point? yoiu can be popular on your own ways, it can be through your academe and extracurricualr or just being the "popular" girl in college.

Get good grades and don't be a nerd, you can be popular and get good grades at the same time. While you're in college you should make a study group or join one. But don't forget to be social of you want to make friends and be popular. You can be popular and get good grades.....you can't be one or the other. You can be both.

Try to be yourself. You can get a good grades and not being nerd but being popular. You just have to set up the limits you would not wish to cross. There is always possiblity to be very popular and be a good student (take my example), but you have to figure it out by your self. Just try to be smart (but not boring - some people are quite satisfied with being dumb) and fun (but not exagerating - you don't have to get drunk and slothish for people to notice you) at the same time.

Fact that you don't know how to spell college maybe means that you're not english. So I recon you still have chance to be a smart one :)

Think long term. Yeah you'll be popular while you're in college, but if you let your grades slip... you're screwed. Moments of happiness are alright, but you have a life to be more concerned about. Study hard, get good grades, and be successful. Once you have your bases cover you'll have time to be popular. Brains and beauty is possible. But think about your future.

You don't sound like a nerd (you can't spell), so don't try to be one. Be yourself.
