I have the Sims Deluxe Edition, but can I still install the Sims Expansion in to the game?

The answer is yes, just avoid re-install of the same files, and back-up your saved games for two reason, some files don't work with expantion in some games and IF the process fails, you got them still.....

i had the same situation even even even with the undeniable fact that i figured it out. make a shortcut for the sims interest in ordinary terms so theres an icon of the game on your computer. fantastic click on on the sims shortcut and click on run as administrater and the game will run for you.

yes i think.
i started off with sims, sims holiday, house party.
then i bought sims deluxe and then superstar.
i installed deluxe first and then superstar. and these seem to work perfectly. :)
