They all wear blue to the left side and wear bandanas. On Nate's papers all the b's look like bk or are crossed out.I asked a friend of mine what this means and he said that Nate might be involved with the Crips.I don't know if it's true i tried asking him and he said no and when my wife had asked him he got mad so i'm not to sure. He's been fighting more with us then before and barely talks to us or any of us old friends.I found out he been sneaking out late at night and has confronted him about it and he said he was probably just outside because he couldn't sleep which i don't believe and told him but he just shrugged and said oh well.I didn't want to believe that he could be but the more i keep seeing and hearing about im not sure. The other day i seen a 6 point star and we aren't jewish and i found spray paint in his room he said it's his friends.Just want to help him if he is and also away from his new friends.dont know much about gangs but people say it seems he is. Your son is in the crips alright or at least fantasizes he is. Gangs are an interesting phenomena. It shows that a group of individuals don't feel that they belong to a society so they form their own societies and view themselves as outside the rules and social norms of any other society, even the one they live in. Your son probably got involved because he wanted to belong to something. My advice is to send him to military school so that he can feel he belongs to a group while supporting the main society and not identifying as an outsider exempt from the rules of it.

No matter what your decision, recognize that your son is showing a great interest in something, learn about it and then learn how to facilitate it in a healthy way.

Pack your bags and move either him with someone else in the family or you move. He will never get out of the gang, it is just too dangerous. Once you are in, it is too hard to get out. You will be saving your son's life, or a life in prison. He could be killed also, so just move far away if you possibly can.. Want to live in the mountains, maybe Colorado would be nice, then he could ski and other things. If he stays, he could become a hardened criminal, get on drugs if he is not already. JUST MOVE.
