No it is not. The actual cost for making this is .55/-. Its made in Thomas De La Rue company in France. There is a progit been invold two. Making cost is .55/- Selling price os 2.00/- :) - Dr.Doom

Did no one tell you that it is highly insulting to spell the name of a country or statesman/woman using small letters? Back to school with you!
The two pound coin (used throughout the United Kingdom - this has 4 countries not just England) is a base coin and in actual terms will be worth a few pence, however, it is traded with a face value of £2. Why the fact that The Queen is wearing a necklace or not has anything to do with the value of the coin is beyond my comprehension!
