When I lived there, there were lots of things to do. I went to pool(billiards) parlours, bowling alleys, arcade games, swimming, ice-skating, played beach volleyball, football(soccer), fishing in the Corniche and mostly the movie theatres. Many people I knew were also members of sports clubs. Good times.

Well I think if your family is living there then you should be able to go get a job at a fast food place or something like any other teen. I think you should look up some of the community guide for Dubai. There are lots of sports centers or even if your parents join a country club you can hang out there and do sports. Lots of people go to the beach at night. Someone mentioned water sports. You could join a gym too. For fun I think Wild Wadi is great.

Go to to one of the hotels and lay by the pool.
You can buy day passes to use the pool at the sheraton. Excellent cocktails there, but i guess if you're teens that wouldnt be any good to you. But they dont ask for id at the pool!
We were that bored when i was there so we took a taxi into dubai.

ok i live in abu dhabi too....beside going to ad mall and marina mall.....we guys usually...
goto maria play billiards or bowling
cinema....watch movie (grnd cinema or cinestar)
zayed sports city - 20 bucks for 1 hour play tennis or soccer
have a fire camp at beach behind emirates palace (Its allowed)

Er... I seen this advert on TV for tourism in the UAE. It showed a beach WITH NO FEMALES. The 40-something white tourist chappie played football on said beach with some teenage boys. Hope this helps...
