I always liked the design of the Batmobile from the 1989 and 1992 movies. I know this is wishful thinking, but would it be possible to buy a replica of it? (Minus the make believe gadgets, and I imagine it would cost at least 1 million dollars).

Sure you may even buy it. Custom cars for tv & film often are sold at auctions like the Barret Jackson car auction. As for having one made? Custom car makers like George Barris will do it for you. He made the Original Batmobile the Monkees GTO & many other cars.

Absolutely. The one thing you mentioned is money, and you are right about that, but if you had the financial resources, it can be done. I think you may be referring to copyright issues and the like. Let's say you were able to do this, Warner Bros. wouldn't mind, as they own DC, and it would be free publicity for their characters. If however, you began charging people to photograph, sit in it or ride in it, etc., then you will probably have reason for concern. Physically, yes, it is possible to construct this, and that's why there is a market for what are called auto kits, where people can transform an existing automobile and make it look either new, classic, or even an entirely different vehicle. I don't know of any links, but yes, it is possible to do this, and, again, it would require financial resources, people with auto kit experience, and, of course, time and committment. It's a nice dream to have!!! All the batmobiles are sweet, BTW!!

Auburn is having an Auction this month i believe & the batmobile is one of the cars-they are having & many muscle Cars & Antiques also !

If you have the money, anything is possible...I mean, have you ever seen MTV Cribs or even Pimp My Ride, they can just about do anything..But have you thought about what you will look like riding around in a car like Batmans?

you've the right parts from each and every vehicle that could be connected and dealing good, and the money certain you could yet lots of work far as sign up i might want to imagine might want to be via the motor yet only a guess
