There is always a good reason for giving your cat the name it ends up with. People might ask 'why Boots? why Smudge?' and I bet the answer isn't really boring.
Even if we have a name for our pet before we even get it, there's a reason why we choose that name. Sometimes we get the pet then wait to see what its character and temperament are like before the name suggests itself.
Who would contemplate a name for their cat while thinking, what's the most boring name I can think of?
I think Boots and Smudge are good names, I'm guessing it's to do with their looks?

i like to p.c.. names that human beings do no longer think of of for a cat. I even have had cats named Booger, Barker, stitch, canines, And remarkable now I actually have a silver tiger cat named Spot. So what ever you think of of be rather resourceful

Smokey is always a popular one for black or grey cats. We have a black cat with green eyes and she is called Blue. Work that one out.

Call your cat f---wit or c-nt.

When you want to shout for your cat at night very loudly, you can use great swearwords and have a great excuse for not getting arrested.

Sorted.
