At times in the USA and Canada these groups complain about carrying daggers or getting their hair cut or not shaving and want to be part of the army or the RCMP ( Royal Canadian Mounted Police ) or just go to high school but they want it the way it was in the old country. Shouldn't our country be able to say to them, Hey lard ***, you are in this country now, we don't do it that way here, so do as I say or go back to where you came from?

The earth is one country and mankind it's citizens. God didn't draw the borders; man did, so he can fight over them and kill over them. When they we erase them, everything will balance out naturally. The jobs, the people, etc. All this: this is MY side of the planet, and that is YOUR side of the planet, is just children's play. We are maturing, and soon, we won't fight over anything. Cooperation will replace competition.

Please, grow up. The world can't afford this childishness any longer.

In both countries, every politician is pandering for a vote.

There should be a certain expectation to follow the rules and cultural mores of your new home. Otherwise, don't make it you new home!. (Do we really want revenge killings, women viewed as property, and vaginal mutilation, etc in North America?)
The refusal to "bend and blend" when they come here would not be tolerated if we went to their old country, so why should it be any different?
