For women yes and for men no. Most of the time women put love and sex together. For men, what does sex have to do with love. Women are emotional beings, men are visual beings.

You would go to the hotel to hide it from the spouse and not everyone that cheats is unhappy or not in love. Some people just have a need/want for new sexual experiences.

If you were cheating, you would want to go to a hotel for lots of sex since you can't go to either of your houses since you're both married. If you're cheating, something is really wrong in your relationship and you either need therapy or a divorce.
