You need a private framer, or a good DIY man.

Reason is you will need a deep mount, or even a box made for the dress to hang in where pictures are less than 1mm thick, this is going to be quite thick.

Avoid any Highstreet framer, they are usually frqancise guys who struggle even to cut mounts & glass at an odd size.

Once you have made the frame, and box, you will need to seal them well, to stop any insects etc getting in,, and hang it on a shaded wall, however it will be very heavy due to the glass, so will need hanging using a couple of rawl bolts.

You could try asking any place with sports tropies mounted in case/frames to see where they got it done.

Frame Wedding Dress

I agree that this is kind of creepy. Tacky too. Yes, it was your wedding dress but....do you really want to look at it all the time. I hope your walls are big enough to accommodate such a large frame. However, this might not look to bad IF it was in a personal space such as a dressing room.

You can take it to a profession dry cleaner and have them professionally pack it in a box for future use. (hand-me-down)

that sounds creepy, like you are making a shrine or something, but if you must do it--you should have it professionally framed.
They will use archival means of preserving it so that the dress will not yellow. The makeover shows are just a quick fix and show....they don't really care what happens to the dress over time.
