Well, I liked Irreversible.
Maybe making the audience feel uneasy was the purpose of the director.
I enjoyed the fact that the movie begins with the end of the story and finishes with the beginning of it (it's a happy end !). It's original and well done.
I think that Gaspar Noé is fascinated by the dark side of humanity and its brutality, but Stanley Kubrick was also.
His previous film, Seul contre tous (One against all ? ), was even darker : a journey inside the sick mind of an unemployed crazy butcher.
A lot of important films in the history of cinema were violently criticized when they were released : Freaks, A clockwork orange,Salo,Taxi driver ...

Yeah my father and mom get mad if I play All that continues to be or comparable bands. Deathcore is noisiest for me. My buddy listens to it and it does not sound like music in any respect to me purely random noise and random yelling.
