when i was a child (12) i was playing near a canal, it was getting dark. i saw a red/orange glow.. i turned to see a tall figure.. arms stretched out like jesus on the cross.. but there was no cross.. the whole thing glowed red/orange with no features.. it lit the area where it hovered. i turned away n looked back but it stayed there for 5 mins or so.. i turned again n it had gone. ive never been so scared in my life. im in my thirties now.. i wish i knew what happened..

Yes ! I have seen a ghost like figure standing at the bottom of my bed . It was the when I was 4 years old and I woke up and saw a man at the bottom of my bed . It was a man that was in the picture above the bed in my grans house . I looked at the picture and it was empty ! and the man was still there . My friends have seen ghost and Frank has seen a ghost walk through the wall of his house . I have seen an angel too and so has my son !

There have been alot of reports of people seeing a being like this all over the world, if you search online you can find some stories about it, some people have called it a burning man, but when you do a search for that online you generally get alot of stuff about the burning man festival!
Try going to the shadowlands webpage and do a search there for it.
There are many paranormal explanations for what you saw that day, it could have been some type of aura surrounding a spirit you saw?
Do not let others discourage you from your reasearch on this because they do not believe.
It could have been a residual haunting, try doing some research on that place and see if it has any history of death or burials. good luck to you.

I once walked in a forest, it was dark and I was lost.
I walked on a small path.
All of a sudden some hundred meters in front of me I saw an orange spot, it was too far to see what it was I was a bit afraid because I was all alone
When I was very close I saw what it was ....
It was something completely different of what I expected nIt was not something tpo be scared of , it was not scared of me either, it was just the light of a car thaty shined on a white plastic bag that hung in the branches of the tree.

No. It would however be worth you talking about it more with some friends to help you to try and resolve what you saw when you were 12 years old. At any rate you do not need to be troubled by your vision.
