when i was a child (12) i was playing near a canal, it was getting dark. i saw a red/orange glow.. i turned to see a tall figure.. arms stretched out like jesus on the cross.. but there was no cross.. the whole thing glowed red/orange with no features.. it lit the area where it hovered. i turned away n looked back but it stayed there for 5 mins or so.. i turned again n it had gone. ive never been so scared in my life. im in my thirties now.. i wish i knew what happened..

I haven't seen that kind of a ghost but I saw one a few years ago...i woke up in the middle of the night because I got this feeling that somebody was staring. It was pitch black in the room then all of a sudden I saw this man standing at the foot of our bed watching..dressed in a tuxedo with an old fashioned hat (kinda like in the Godfather movie). im in my late 20's and until now I can never sleep without a night light.

Well that might just prove to you that Gost and spirits are true, yeah similar thing happened to me when, i was lying in my bed, and some kind of spirit came as a figure of my mum, at first i thort it was my mum but when it glowed up and started hovering i was like wtf and was so scared... but the worst thing was it attacked me wid plank of wood, bottles, belt and had random bruises to my body, it happened four nites and wondered ever since why it attcked me, why it came as my mother and most of all wtf was it.. i was 12 at the time and now 22. so yeh i know were you coming from.
