For the dryness use cream Vitamin E, or Aloe Vera plant. They both help to lock in moisture and they're also used to get red of any type of skin irratation. As for they soreness, I'm not sure. If it hurts from the dryness it should go away when your skin isn't dry. If it hurts like bruising wise, go see a doctor.

rule 1: always apply sunblock
always use moisturizer like olay cheap and the best, they did a statistics for face creams.
drink lots of water. and stay out of the direct sun.
You can apply yogurt wait for 15 min then wash off. it cools face.
You can also take vitamin E capsules break it and apply on face.

try leaving out all perfumed body stuff, deoderent, soap, shower gel etc.... and try changing your washing powder to one for sensitive skin.
