old daughter. Will she be allowed into bars, even if she is not drinking? What else is there for us to do in the evenings in Boston?

If you are going to a bar that does not serve food anytime past 10PM, they usually card all the time and she will not be allowed in. If the establishment serves food, usually they will let underage people in if your primary purpose there is to eat.

There's lots to do in the evenings. Check out :

There are a lot of broadway shows in Boston too that i'm sure would be fun to see :

There are many shows in the theater district...if you like plays, you can find many, as well as improv shows. There are comedy clubs, but they are 21+. There are plenty of places to shop if that's your thing. Overall, there won't be much to do for a child at night. You could go to a place like the Hard Rock Cafe, that might be fun. Also, the Museum of Fine Arts is great and open fairly late some nights.

No she will not. Do you usually take her with you to bars in your home town and if so do you think watching her parent drink for entertainment is a good idea? Can't you think of anything more family friendly to do with her?
