If you recall, Linda McCartney was not well thought of by many people for a LONG time. Eventually she won many peoples hearts. Do you think that could have ever happened in the case of Heather Mills?

She was loved by many because she kept Paul from being alone after the loss of Linda. I think she wanted to use his money to save the world, but she forgot that was HIS money to make those decisions. At least that was what I gleaned from the news reports of their split. She could have stayed with him for the rest of his life and helped him to be happy, but she got caught up in the celebrity of it all. So sad.

I'm not from England, but I'll pipe in with my thoughts. I think Linda became loved by so many because it was so obvious that her and Paul were crazy about each other. He was devoted to her and you could just see it when he looked at her. I don't think he felt like that about Heather. He may have liked her well enough...but I think she was his attempt to stave off the loneliness after losing his soul mate. And I think many people suspected Heather's motives. And, I think, in general, the public is getting tired of seeing these older men with these much younger women. I know I am! What could they possibly have in common? She wasn't even born when we was doing his best stuff with The Beatles. But it was foolish of Paul not to have a pre-nup. He's going to pay dearly for that mistake.
