here's a lil myth...more sleep = no circles. I am a cosmetologist and thats the fist thing we learned. don't ask me why. dark circles can be caused by stress, poor diet, lack or over abundance of sleep, and many other factors. Try taking a daily vitamin and restricting yourself to 5 and a half to six hours of sleep, ice and cold cucumbers only lessen puffiness. If you are looking to cover them up, use a cover-up stick of slightly orange or pale green tones. No you don't leave them in streaks. Just dot along the eye and blend in. apply fondation over it after it has dried. careful not to cake it on or you'll look sick, green works better because it neutralizes the red and purple tones of those nasty circles. best thing in the end, experiment. eventually you will find what works for you and your complexion. oh and p.s. dark circles or not, we are all beautiful

Cucumbers can work if you have time to put them on. I have the best solution and cheapist. My sister & I use Preparation H (used for hemroides). It works great. It takes away the puffiness & dark circles. After washing your face and drying it, dab a little under the eye lids and rub in gently. Be careful not to get to close to the eye. Let it dry before you put on your lotion. It works great! I would get horrible puffiness and circles. Another tip, do not go to bed with your makeup on. Always wash before going to bed. Good luck.

Here are some options that helped with my dark undereye circles:
1. Go to a department store that carries CLINIQUE foundation and have them match your shade.
2. buy a maybelline coverstick at your local drug store. prices range from 5.95 to $7.99.
(I don't recommend this option because it highlights your under eye area, unless you use foundation over the coverstick or face powder.)
3. last but not least, go get some sleep! it does help. the circles are caused by a lack of sleep...
hope this helps you!

I asked the same thing a while back. Check out the responses I got - some were good. I haven't tried any yet - but if you do before me let me know how it worked. http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index;_ylt=AkhmGoIxlyYsP.5JlkHQPKnsy6IX?qid=20060721143218AAv3jU9
If the link doesn't work just check out the questions I have asked.
It is not about getting some more sleep - don't listen to the people that tell you that.

You could try an eye repair cream.
I use "V'tae eye repair cream" it has all-natural ingridents and last a really long time. Keep it in the fridge, coldest part, and dab it on before you go to bed all over underneath the eye.
