the media pumps out this muck to anesthetize the masses. It's in the news= it's important.

It's probably because she was a child and the murder remained unsolved and with many twists. Also, the family had money. I'm sure there have been plenty of other murders around the US and plenty of missing children, but the media picks which ones to focus on. If it was my family member, I would want to have the case solved of course, but the thing is that this case receives so much attention from the media. There must be so many other stories to cover as well.

Because she was a beautiful little girl and it happened on Christmas which most people find to be a special and sacred time of the year. The scope was so heinous that people want to see justice; even after 10 yrs.

If you are talking about jonbenet. Her murder that happend a decade ogo is no more less important then one that happened yesterday. And before you ask why do people care. Think if that was you child then ask that question.

I assume you are referring to the Jon Benet Ramsey case. If your daughter or anyone you knew was murdered, wouldn't you want to know who did it?

i have no freaking idea... i was talking about that to my mom earlier... now the news wont shut up about it... talk it to death... its retarded.. i think thats great that a guy confessed.. but seriously, who the **** cares... its great for the family to have closure.. but come on... we are at freaking war here people!!!
