I asked this sort of question a few days back, but I'm still looking for an answer?
Ok here is an interesting one. What is your theory on this??

I have a theory about aliens; I believe that they are humans, who have come back in time after a few thousand years to see what led to the way they evolved,

There have been to many sightings and reports to not think that they are a part of this world. I mean they are said to come and take cows, water, humans, embryos, and other stuff, they leave crop circles that we understand, like communicating with us,

So my theory is that they are people evolved, and I think they mean us no harm, just that they now have the technology to come back and see what we are like and not leave any of their technology behind as it could be disastrous, and maybe just leave clues as to what we will be like in a few thousand years.

As with past languages, our languages will be lost and replaced with new ones, so they wont be able to communicate

i think that it is ignorant and uneducated to think that we are alone, that is a very selfish thing to say in a lot of aspects

Possibly, I like to think that nothing is impossible, given enough time.
There isn't too much evidence to support that assertion, but then again, there isn't much evidence to support any theories.
Go with it!

Personally I really don't know what to believe. I am a very strong believer in other life-forms/intelligent life in other solar systems, but I am not so sure about aliens visiting us. But you are right, we are being very very stubborn and naive to think we are the only life in this universe.

Altough it is very convincing. Most crop circles are very very perfect and complicated, something a mere human/s cannot do so perfectly. The wheat is also squished, not cut and a person cannot do something that big and perfect without someone noticing.... so basically it is possible.

And about your theory of these 'aliens' acually being humans from the future.... I find that somewhat possible. Time-travel, according to scientists is currently easier to accomplish than teleportation. They have already found ways of teleporting atoms and particles, but in the article I was reading about it, the last sentance was: "And a big dissapointment for sci-fi fans, scientists can't see a possible way that we would be able to transfer humans in this way"
On the other hand, scientists has some ideas on how to make time-travel possible, altough it is very hard.

Now immagine that these 'aliens' where humans from the future. Everyone has seen pictures of these aliens, but not many people believe them. The thing is that the way they say these aliens look is the SAME as how scientists think we are going to look in a couple of million years from now(evolution).

And something about area51, where there are rumors of aliens being kept there. Maybe the goverment is denying this from the people so that they won't disrupt the space-time continium or something. But the real question is..... if they came here then are we just past memories or past actions, and the real time-zone is where they came from? Or isnt there a time-zone......

And maybe the crop circles are acually letters, sentences, communication symbols. Maybe there warning us about something, maybe its a test....

Everything is possible.
On a scientific point of view, we are all aliens, because until now nobody have a definite idea how life came to earth. We all aren't suppose to be on this big blue ball in the first place.

Interesting idea, but if so called aliens are people from the future, i don't see why they won't be able to communicate with us presenites. The human brain basically evolve to become better, not worse, so with current technology and subjects like history so readily made, it can't be worst off in the future right?
When you compare with people in the past, we presenites do know more about the past than they know about their past no??
That's because they hand down their information to us and we will continue to compile and add information to it before passing down to further generations. Despite a possible loss of information here and there, but we do have a general idea of what happened in the past, how they communicated and how their lifestyle were like compared to the present. Even right now we are still teaching languages that are as smiliar as those used 2000 ~ 3000 years old, for example sanskrit and chinese.

So what will your call be on some of the undisclosed facts that were given out regarding those "sightings". There were many unofficial reports that stated that many sightings in U.S in the 1970s and 1980s were due to testings of then up-in-production military airplanes. Since it was top secret, nothing was supposed to be disclosed, and therefore when there was an accidental sighting, people who didn't know otherwise would have thought of it as an alien sighting.

Everything's subjective and open to debate, I'm not saying you're wrong, but i hold a different stand from your view.

Aliens as time-traveling humans, hmm? Haven't seen that one for a while.

While time-travel is allowed by some formulation of general relativity, the conditions under which it is allowed are so extreme we are talking about thousands if not millions of years before it is likely to be engineered. Even then, there may be serious questions as to the level of interaction allowed.

On the other hand, some theorists suggest that time-travel results in a side-slip to another timestream in which the traveler ends up there but can't return to their original timestream thus eliminating paradox.

There isn't any hard and fast way to disprove your theory short of actual contact with these travelers, complete with documentation and observations. Most encounters have ended up to the level of anecdote. Some stories are not disprovable but they are not provable either.

I think we'll have to file your theory and wait for more proof one way or the other. Sorry.

Most of your theory could be believable but what really is hard to bypass would be people going back in time. Even though you have movies and tv shows (this is almost the total plot of the 4400) that show people going back in time (Timeline is a movie like this) it can't really happen. If people can't go back in time, then how could they be the aliens you believe in? Also, let's just say people could go back in time - do you really think they would make changes (even though it would be a "disaster" to do so)? I think the temptation to get personal benefits or even make changes on a larger scale would be too tempting for any individual, no matter how good of a person they were. Nope, I'm sorry, the whole thing just doesn't work for me.

You cannot find a solid answer if you have no solid evidence or "proof" as the disclaimers call it. I sincerely believe it to be inexcusably egocentric to think that in this infinite universe, with BILLIONS of known galaxies, to thik for a second that we are alone. I laugh when I hear that. It's the equivelent of just peaking through your curtains for a second and saying you see the entire city. We are not alone in this universe, not by a long shot. We as a people are still primitive and "boring". Look at it. If beings could travel millions of light years to us, and then to see things such as material gain and money being so important to a race of peoples, why would they bother? We still use hand-held can openers and other "primitive" but pratical deivces. Until we as a whole race decide to go forward with our evolution, and stop the barage of marketing influences soley for profit, stop all the wars and racist crimes and start to move forward toward a collective conscience of understanding, I'm afraid we will be "alone" until it happens. As for you proof, look at the BILLIONS of galaxies discoverd. Now look at how HUGE ours is. Now see that we are in this big Galaxy, we are beings. Now realize there are billions of others galaxies and most likely more beings. Use us as an example, apply it to the other galaxies or universes.BUT rest assured we are not alone, and will someday, see that for real.

You pose a very interesting question. I honestly don't know whether aliens exist or not. It's true that there are millions upon millions of planets in the universe and some of those planets probably do have life. However, if the aliens were really smart, they would stay as far away from earth as they could...lol.

All joking aside, there probably are aliens out there, but until I actually see one up close, I really can't say for sure. Peace!

I believe that we humans are not alone in this big ol' universe, but I just can't fathom why an alien would come all this way to steal a few animals or probe a few hicks, give them chiklits, then stuff them back on the planet and cause a complete uproar between humans.

Perhaps Earth is like those "bad" areas of town that your mum tells you never, ever go near, and what's actually "visiting" Earth are joyriding alien "teenagers". These teenagers then get riproaring tipsy, quaff a few Romulan ales, and get destructive like some humans get. Then they buzz out laughing their silly head off as the local human primitives go all "apey".

We know one thing about the fifth dimension (the ability to manipulate the fourth dimension...which is time which is the manipulation of the third which is space,...etc....) and that is that if time travel did in fact exist, that is, if we could master the fifth dimension in order to be able to "jump around time", meaning, to be able to move off of the space-time-continuom (think of it as a continuous line) in order to get to any point we want by skipping parts of the line, that that would create holes not only in the fourth dimension (time), but also in every dimension below that...MEANING, if we could time travel (as we're talking about going BACK in time, to a point that has already exsisted complete with all derivatives and anti-derivatives space...distance...point) we be ripping holes in everything that time covers. Backwards time travel would tear the Universe apart...we know this. Now forwards time travel is WHOLE other thing...it's probably impossible since you can't really go somewhere that doesn't exist yet, can you? No, the fifth dimension is beyond our grasp, beyond anyone's grasp. Many religious scholars consider the manipulation of time or again, the fifth dimension to be "god" which makes sense when you're discussing an eternal god with eternal punishment or eternal bliss or whatever...Only something that could control such a force, that could control time could be "god".

But no, no time travel. Definitely not. It's just science fiction or the province of "divine" beings. This is one of my favorite topics and you don't have to know much to understand it...just a little calculous that could be taught in just a minute or two. Rates and derivatives.

I do not think they are humans. I believe that there are billions of trillions of stars just like our sun which have planets just like Earth. Life evolved on those planets just like it did on Earth.

Any aliens that come to Earth probably come because we are sending many many radio waves into space. We also have many radio wave detectors pointed to space, just waiting for a return signal.

The aliens could communicate, just like you can learn to speak a new language. We/they may not have the same vocal cords so maybe we couldn't speak, but if they have a written language, then we could decode it, just like the Egyptian Hieroglyphs.

As far as we can tell, humans are unique to this planet. Your DNA is connected to all life on your planet. You have the potential to leave your planet, but seem to be throwing away that chance.
Over the centuries, your planet was a curious place to visit once or twice and was not considered very interesting . Sure, your wars showed us how undeveloped you are as a species and your infantile,(in cosmic terms) dependence on god concepts does not bode well for you. We are now showing an interest in you because it is not often that we get to observe a species commit suicide. You are so close to maturing as a sentient species and it will be a shame to see you kill yourselves. There are just not enough of you becoming rational enough to force the issue. You let the least among you determine your fate, so be it.
