An average size man has about 12 pints of blood. An average size woman has about 9 pints.

Dialysis treatments last from 2 ½ to 4 ½ hours.

So I would say, almost all of one's blood is circulated through the dialysis machine during the dialysis treatment.

It must because the machine has to filter it to cleanse it of waste materials found in the blood, otherwise a build up of these waste materials can cause death.
