I ask this question because I am curious as to how many people like to know why people do the things they do.

I love to read true crime. I want to know what makes people tick. I believe that there is something in our inherant make-up that makes us who we become. But I wonder why it comes out in certain people and not others. Not all children who were abused become abusers, not all poor people become robbers; it is usually the opposite way around. I read where it has to do with the development of our Id. Makes me wonder just how fragile we really are. I want to know what makes a killer. I wonder how people can do some of the things they do to people, and why nobody seems to notice anything unusual about the person until they are caught. I believe our killers are indicative of the society we live in. Nobody seems to care for anybody but themselves . Are we in such a hurry that we don't notice? And when we do notice, after all the hoop-la,we all go back to doing the same things all over again. I also wonder how many corporate big-wigs are true psycopaths. I don't believe you can make it that far in any position of power without being unable to feel. I could go on and on,but I will stop here. You can see my fascination on this subject.

YES I LIKE TO READ THEM! It's because I want to have hope that Justice is still served in the real world. Because every second counts when serving Justice and it's a comfort knowing that the sinful are bound to their punishment and they can't hurt anyone anymore.

Ahem. "True crime novels" is an oxymoron.
