and the person behind the counter says "next in line" and although I may be the next some people just jump in front of you? Does that make you sick or what?

LOL i speak up and say "I was here first!" or if someone tries to serve me first i will say " no no he/she was here first!"

Oh, my gosh, I hate that. It happens to me all the time. The checker should point out the next person but I guess they can't take the time to do it. I feel like choking that person that jumps in front of me and takes my turn.

Absolutely. Those people just have a lack of manners. Just stand up for yourself and say, "Excuse me. But I believe that I'M the one that next in line!" That will surely embarrass them!

i wil not tolerate that, except when they maybe have one item to pay for and i have a whole trolly full....sometimes i let people go in front of me. but then.....it also depends on what line you standing? at the Public affairs etc, it is a different story !!!
the venue will be the dealbreaker.

Yes, especially in a pub when you know you're next and they try to serve someone who just walked in, who doesn't say "this lady was before me" I used to let it happen, not anymore though!
