im really interested in all that stuff is it unhealthy or something??

i have wondered that too. i am really interested in all of that stuff, also csi and law and order tv shows. but i still cry when i read what serial killers have done and i still feel sick to my stomach when i see photos. so i know that i will never be like them!!! it is just an interesting hobby. i enjoy knowing facts about stuff like that. you should check out ann rule's book about ted bundy, its fascinating.
plus, i learn how to be more careful. knowing a lot about how other people were caught and murdered has taught me many things. i don't make stupid mistakes that other girls do; walking at night, no cell phone, no protection, that sort of thing. i am always on the look out, because i know that people who look nice can be very evil on the inside.

well we must both be bad then, ive got over 100 books on killers.
Im not so much interested in the actual killing im more interested in the why and what makes that person want to kill. Ive read some fascinating books on child killers and that seriously was frightening. A really good set of books i have read have been diiferent accounts of the fred and rose west murders, the most harrowing obviously from the children involved but to me its more how these people who kill are to their friends and family nice people.

It depends entirely on what kind ofinterest you have in them. I knew a woman who did her doctoral thesis in psychology on serial killers.

I dont think so, many law enforcers study serial killers also.

not in my opinion, it's an interest like any other. you're just keeping your mind stimulated. so long as you don't try to copycat any of them, which i don't think you will because your question suggests a moral conscience, i think it's fine
