Dreaming of person with the name you don't know or you don't know that person at all does not mean anything. Probably, that name lurks into your mind because of some reason. Sometimes, we we have recurring dreams because there are some unresolved issues. In your case, may be some thing someone said that flashed into your mind and you remembered in your subconscious mind and it comes out once in a while.
You will have to find out how it gets to your mind first. For example, if you have seen a movie, you can't remember it forever, and if there is name in the movie, that may pop up in your mind. Our mind is tricky, sometimes we don't know why they act that way.

By chance was the radio or television on while you were sleeping. Because I have quoted movies that my husband has watched while I have slept and I thought I dreamed it.
