Problems with tattoos
Allergy. Very occasionally, an individual is allergic to one of the pigments used. There will be swelling and itching, often in the red part of the tattoo. Allergy may not occur immediately and may develop months or even years after the tattoo was done.
The dyes used in tattooing are industrial pigments that were originally produced for other purposes, such as car paints and writing inks. Their safety in skin has never been properly investigated.
Infection. Cases of hepatitis B infection as a result of tattooing have been reported. Theoretically, HIV and hepatitis C could be caught if contaminated needles were used. This is why, in the UK, you cannot donate blood for 1 year after having a tattoo.
Wishing you had not had it done. There is now a greater appreciation of the real distress that an inappropriate tattoo can cause – having an obvious tattoo can be a real disadvantage in the job market. When doctors in Wales questioned patients who wanted tattoos removed, they found that a quarter had regretted their tattoo within a month of having it. Over 70% had been below the legal age of 18 when it was done and, on average, they had endured 14 years of embarrassment before deciding to get it removed.

There is nothing you can't do if you are sensible about the tattoo you choose and it's location.
Imean yes you do have to think would I want this when I'm an old lady?
I got some delicate flowers around my ankle 9 yrs ago and I have never regretted it as it looks pretty rather than cheap. And I will never need to remove it as it can be hidden.
As for colour and shape changing mine is still the same as when I first got it!

Depending on the location, a tattoo can change shape and/or color over time -- when the skin loses its elasticity with age, the tattoo can lose its shape. Also, if a woman has a tattoo on her belly, it can stretch if she is pregnant and does not necessarily regain its shape.

after a few years you'll have a kid. then your kid will be hospitalized and will need a blood transfusion. your partner's blood can't do because well, it can't. and you can't donate blood either because you have a tattoo. sorry.
and also a tattoo may be "erased." i've seen it. a sort of skin will be taken from you and "glued" over the tattoo, hence it appears to disappear. but it's still there.

You cant get certion jobs if you have tattoes that show. You get judged really hard if you have them, like when did you get out of prison, wheres your bike, And if you get a girlfriends name on you and you breakup its hard to get another girl. Be very careful what you put on your body because they are forever.

on my own opinion its better not to have tattoo you look like exconvict, its not neat to see,you look trashy..if u are applying for a job they might check or ask for any tattoo and that is a minus point, maybe its a turn off to your gf/bf,your parents dont like having tattoo and you will be hiding it,for me its a turn off...better not to have one.....
