There is no soul. The idea of a soul is born from the fear of the unknown. Thus, the idea of an afterlife and a creator is the same phenomenon.

So, where does the soul go after death?.... It disappears like a dream once when we awaken in the morning.

We don't have one, we are one. The soul is the body and breath combined. When we die, they seperate and we sleep. God resurrects us. There are two resurrections with a perios of 1000 years in between. The first one is at the second coming for the saved. They will recieve immortality which will allow them to have angel-like powers without hurting themselves (becoming invisible and flying in faster than light speed). Their atoms would be moving at a much higher frequency than normal. The'd be part of the invisible spectrum at will. The second one is for the wicked which get deleted from existance by fire. Their souls never resurrect anymore.

There is NO soul. We just want to believe there's something we can hold dependable in our being. What is at work is the mind, the mind is still active- roaming with the utmost degree of freedom when we are asleep.

The souls of all beings in this world (including us) is covered by gross and subtle body. The gross body is made of earth, fire, water, air and ether, whereas the subtle body is made of mind, intelligence, and false ego. During the sleep the soul wanders around in its subtle body. Also in the time of death the soul leaves this gross body in its subtle body and according to its previous actions and its desires it is given another gross body. Your question assumes we have a soul. There is no scientific evidence that it exists.
