I recently installed 'Smiley Central'. Ever since when I try to type a message on MSN it just types wierd codes and won't let me send any messages. I tried to uninstall it following there procedure which didn't work. I am desperate to get my MSN up and running again - can anyone help???? Please!!!!!!

Don't touch smiley central with a barge pole! it is full of spyware. You might have to run something like spyware doctor now to get rid of any crap it has left behind..

I would start by uninstalling MSN, going to their Web site to get a copy of the newest release and installing that. In the meantime, uninstall the smiley program as well.

i'm not sure about this but, go to control panel, add or remove programmes and then remove smiley central, that might work...

or then otherwise, uninstall msn and then install it again

Download msn again. Once you're finished downloading it, it will ask if you want to uninstall it or repair it. Click repair. It worked for me.

have you tried "restore"? Put your computer back to an earlier date. (before you installed smiley central)
