He was actually a former friend in high school and he got his former girlfriend pregnant but hes not with her any longer matter of fact they hate each other. He is a really nice guy, he works full time goes to school full time and still has time to be with his son that lives with his mother. i respect the fact that he has a son and i know at times i wouldnt be able to be with him, but i dont think i would mind cuz his son should be his number one priority.so would it be a good idea if i got in a relationship with him?

I think this guy is great(cos he's responsible enough-although he hate his ex gf but he still takes the time out to visit his son).
You should go for it.
However, I think it's still too early to say that you don't mind because you might feel neglected later on or his son might not like you(remember that his son lives with his mother).

I think it shouldn't matter if he has a son. I would say go for it! Just talk to him about it first.
