Yes, gay and lesbian people exist, but I do not understand how they are scary. They are people just like everyone else. Maybe it's your parents and other people around you who are brainwashing you into believing that they are some "sick" people or that they are going to go to hell for being homosexual. I really don't care about a person's sexual orientation; it does not make them a "good" or "bad" person. Also, it does not hurt me in any way. People cannot control the lives of others, how they feel, what they believe, and what they want to do. It's so sad to me that parents are brainwashing their kids like this. There are more important things to worry about than someone's orientation.

my parents never scare me like that..i dunno half the time i wanna believe what i hear my frens said abt bogeyman and candyman and stuff but they just dont make any sense..so heck i've nvr seen one so i mite not just believe into that..adn it all goes back on where you were brought up..like different races have their own of different version of the bogeyman so for all i know,this ppl are creating the stories on their own..and it gets better as the times pass..i bet one of these days there will be text-man..hahaha..a ghost who knows how to sms people and sacre the hell out of other ppl!!!just who knows..

Your questions aren't mutually exclusive you realize...
It's possible that gay people not only exist but that parents also make gay people up to scare children.

Of course gay/lesbian people exist. What kind of question is this? I know you have heard of gay people, but maybe not put like that. You may have heard the terms "homosexual" or "homosexuality". Both of those mean gay.

I don't get it....why would gay people scare children? I could see sad or depressed people scaring childring, but gay people?
