I have to ask for some advice. I am newly divorced, with a young child. And I have this male friend, mature, in his fifties, with a stable family and business. He said he just want to be close to me, is it ok to be nice to me.......

How do i smooth this out without putting both of us into a awkard position. The thing is sometimes something may worth of to be risky, but, there isn't any chemistry. And most important thing is I don't want to be "that" woman full stop.

Any ideas?

Don't dance around the issue, be direct.
He's not being honest with you as to his motives and you don't have to put up with it.
Why be friends with someone that can't respect your wishes?
He's not respecting his wife either.
You're going to feel dirty and used if you start putting out for the guy bc you want some financial help.

***Avoid him at all costs before he gets possessive or obsessive!***

Honestly, its a decision best made by u. U are in the best position to analyse, whatever we advice may not be realistic. Just search your soul and ask is yes then what is there for u and if no, what are the losses for u. Follow your heart combine with your head to make this decision. Any decision made by the heart alone may not be right. All the best, in whatever u decide, u are in the best of knowledge

Being close doesnt mean that you must have sex and that will break his family. You can be close as a friend and not more, but there must be a full control from your side, even with close friends, sometimes the temptation occurs but i mean why not we are human, to be safe you shld be responsible from that temptation not to arise in any way...besides that, dont worry...have more friends...

Your already in a awkward position. He wants to be close. Oh boy he wants to get in your pants.

Get busy and start not having time for him. Tell him you are busy with a boy friend or something.

That man has intentions of having you as a kept woman on the side. Keep your distance. It will just be trouble.

You need to make sure he knows how you feel. If you do not want a relationship with him let him know it is a friendship. You need to remember that he is married any relationship should be forbidden anyway. Good luck
