According to the interview on "Chasing Time" dvd, Wisemen is about going your own way, not letting the pack decide your fate.

in school james was a geek and was always always with these guys who thought they were cool, who he now sarcastically called the wise men. james like this girl, and told them, his 'friends'. these wise men were also attracted to this girl but all 3 failed to get her. hence they were upset. james was a geek and shy so he never made a move on her. so for fun and pranks they revealed to her that james was interested in her. When these wise men told the girl, lo and behold, she was actually interested in james after all and asked him to be his steady boyfriend. thats why he was wondering what the wisemen told her and felt betrayed by it. later on he realized he had the last laugh since he has the girl and those guys are now only have a semi (short for semi-trailer) by the sea. meaning, they were losers who live in a trailer by the sea. where are you now dudes..its just a simple get back for the betrayal. james got the girl and they regret it. hope this song makes sense for you people now. with or without you (U2) you're attractive (J. Blunt) Wiseman (J. Blunt) attractive Day (U2) U2 were round a lot longer and convey great stuff. I in many circumstances like their song. James Blunt - properly, he's proficient yet considering 'you're attractive', his songs are starting to be mor eand more beneficial depressing. there is not any version in his song anymore, it type of feels. Wiseman and also you're attractive are the songs i like via him. loved them because the day I heard them yet it truly is it. My favourite U2 music, per chance to three people's criteria not the staggering one, is pride (interior the call of affection).
