My husband saw our baby being born. I had heard of some men being sickened by this, but he watched everything. He says it was amazing, and when he saw her for the first time he started to tear up. He said it was a natural thing and wasn't grossed out from it at all. I guess it depends on the maturity of the individual.

Yes, I have seen both of my children being born. I did not find it disgusting or gross. It was the most miraculous moment in my life. Your children are the most precious gift that you can receive. Not to mention when you see the mother of your child giving birth it gives you a whole new found respect for her, one that I can't put into words.

I was present at the birth of my son but they don't normally put you in a place so that you can actually see the baby being born, you're normally at the mother's head end. But it was an incredible experience just being there.

Yes - my son was born 7 weeks ago to the day. It was emotional and magical. Some friends of mine warned me about not looking but I couldn't resist and I am so glad I did. To see him arrive in this world was my best experience in life so far.

My man and my 3yr old son saw me giving birth to our 2nd child since I had to give birth in such a hurry.

My man thought he was totally helpless seeing me there and can't do anything to help me lighten those labor pains but hold my hand and give me light kisses every now and then to comfort and support me all the way to childbirth while my 3yr old son thought it was bloody messy!!He thought of his baby brother as cute but in great need of baby bath as he was then totally covered with blood and all.
You can just imagine his eyes growing bigger and bigger with every push I did,he was like "mommy, are you alright??!" and upon seeing his baby bro finally he said "ewww".

It was quite a memorable experience for everybody including the gyne who delivered our baby prematurely.
