It depends on the type of girl you're seeing. Escorts make a lot of money, and they are usually "willing" to do it. It is a business deal. I know it's not the best thing in the world, and if I ever have a kid, I really hope she'll never do it.
As for guys paying for sex, well, it's better not to do it on a regular basis as you sort of lose touch with reality (2-min conversation foolowed by a bj/sex). But if you don't want a girlfriend and don't feel like lying to a girl in order to get close to her, well, why not.
As long as it's safe...

Prostitution has been around for millenia, and has been crowned as the "age-old profession".
If sex is that important to a person, then an un-married man having sex with an un-married prostitute seems logical.
But when you ask if it is 'wrong', what dimensions are you appealing to in it's wrongness?
If you are referring to the Western beliefs, that hinge on the Bible...
Then if you are unmarried, and having consorted sex, you are practicing fornication.
Of course, if you are married, then you are an adulterer.
This belief system does not intend to make everyone feel bad about their actions, especially if it is something they NEED (or so they feel they need).
You must come to grips with the consequence of all your actions.
But to answer your question, on both counts, yes, it is wrong.
However, no sin is worse than another, and all sin can be forgiven. Just don't play the game as if you can cash in right before the end - the end might be different than when you think it might be.
Sex just doesn't need to be that important. It is an expression of love, then an act of reproduction. If it goes into a third realm of personal satisfaction, then it's starting to get perverted and selfish. This is not the intention of sex. I can see a point of 'release', but all things can be made for the good - it depends on how you treat them.

If you think about it the man most of the time pays for sex. There are many of you gals out there that pay for it as well. Sex is Sex and nothing more in many cases. nothing wrong with an agreement either with money or without. Meet a gal that gives you a ***** and what do you do? Take her out to dinner or a movie and it might be more than once to get in her **** and it is you that pays for all this. If that is not buying sex then I sure have waisted a lot of money. If you guys want to know the truth then think about this one. The gals over thirty are normally very much wanting sex and we think it is us that starts the action while actually it is the gals getting us to pay and give them pleasure. Now who really has the know how. An old saying, A man chases a woman until she catches him. That is very true. A few bucks and some sex without any other attachments is nice from time to time.

Yes, it is wrong. People who prostitute themselves are victims of many forms of abuse including rape. It is commonly a Maladaptive Coping Response where the prostitute is trying to prove to themselves that they are in control of thier own bodies after a traumatic experience. Equilly Common, prostitutes are supporting a drug addiction, very often caused by a pimp who manipulated them when they were young; thus paying a prostitute is often, itself, Rape by cohersion.
If one ever takes the time to talk to prostitutes, and is able to get them to open up, about their past, one will find that everyone of them comes from one type of a broken home or another.
While proponants of prostitution claim that its "the oldest profession," this is not true; hunting and farming are the oldest professions in the world; it is however the oldest form of slavery. Prostitution rose out of the conquests of so called "civilized nations," durring neolithic times, who kidnapped females of enamy nations for slaves and took advantage of female refugees in very much the same way one can find pimps controlling street girls today.
Thus, while it may be "free will," one should concider that they are feeding another humanbeings ill fate that is proven to lead to STDs and an early grave. "Free will" is also often an illusion as many prostitutes are victims of the slave trade.
With this in mind I think it is obveous that the relationship issues of the person paying a prostitute is irrelivent: It may be safe for them, but it is not safe for the prostitute.

Sex should be used for the right purpose with the right person at the right time and in the right place. If this is not understood, your sex behaviour (precious element) is just equal of animal behaviour and therefore you are failed to become a civilised human being. Paying for sex is not a business whatsoever. It a reflection of offending women's rights as well as a serious insultation to human well being.

Legally: it's illegal 'cept for Las Vegas.
Morally: some say yes, some say no, can't tell you for certain who's right.
Personally: I think it's a dangerous business practice, but then again, business can be dangerous sometimes. I'd opt to follow the law but if you don't mind being sneaky, go ahead. Just make sure she doesn't drug you or bring her pimp to collect from you or anything like that.

no, i don't think a man should have to pay for sex...if the woman enters the relationship of her own free will, then it should be a relationship of equally giving and taking...
i don't think you should have let this get started...it doesn't sound like much of a relationship to me...
