How many people are sick of overpopulation and the problems that come along with it?

Don't worry too much about it. Most likely if you are under thirty you will see what happens when there are too many of any animal. The pandemic is coming and probably before 2050 so be ready for it. It has happened before and when an area became too crowded. The next one will be world wide because people can move from place to place so quickly. Don't feel sad abut it either. It is needed and it will happen.........My opinion from watching how nature takes care of its own.

Over population is one small problem The world is not over populated, the population is just not settled correctly. Look here in North America, we could safely shelter and feed millions more, but we have so many empty spaces. and thepeople in poor countries have many children because they know that if they live long enough, they will be dependent on their children for food and shelter, and the more children they have, the better chance of not starving to death. they are uneducated, and don't understand the concept of 2 healthy children being a better bet than 6 unhealthy ones to feed them in their old age.

gee, I sure am. I had five siblings and didn't have a room of my own until I moved out. And my sister was a real pain, too...

Oh, you mean globally? Well, I've chosen not to have children to add the problem. How 'bout the rest of you?

I'm more tired of Western greed ensuring that developing countries stay so poor that the idea of having a large family to support aging parents seems logical

Overpopulation? This planet (if we used its resources correctly) could habitate ten times the current population. There are far worse actual problems that our attentions should be focused on (HIV/AIDS, Hunger, Global Warming).
