There is no thin line close and best friends are often one in the same but a lover is totally different, mainly due to the whole buck neked part of it.

A close friend-with whom you can share all your problems,thoughts,routine events,family matters etc. A Best Friend-- You can discuss all the above matters-he/she will try to solve your problems and try to give right advise. He/she will be happy in your happiness. Lover- Who has fallen in love with you-cannot live without you-feel happy in your company-and can do anything to save you from the worst.

their is no much difference between best friend and lover. If you really think him as a dream guy its lover or else he's a only friend

well for me the difference is...
a close friend is any person whose likes is
the same as you..you are happy with him/her..
while a bestfriend is the one who can relly help
you and will not leave you in times of trouble...
and a lover is the person that can sympathized
to you all the time...
