"Who You'd Be Today" by Kenny Chesnesy if you like country at all. Seems like the appropriate genre for sad songs about loss.

I would say that the most depressing song is the 4th movement of Tchaikovsky's 6th Symphony, "Pathétique." It was written near the time of his controversial death. Just be prepared to cry.
