I was expecting a cute little furry E.T or ALF type creature that would be fun to have around the house. Instead it was and annoying little doggy chew toy that wouldn't go to sleep and caused my cat to have a nervous condition.....

I never had a Furby. My friend had one for awhile but I didn't really get to play with it.
My sister had a robot bird thing comparable to a Furby. If Furby was indeed anything like this robo-bird, then yeah Furbies kind of sucked.
They were kind of cute though. Maybe Furby would have been better as just a doll. Though now that I think of it you could just buy an old Gizmo doll for the same effect.

I still enjoy Furby and ours told a new joke yesterday! The new ones aren't as spontaneous as the originals, but it is soooo fun when you get two or more Furbies together and they all start up! It's hilarious!

Furby's...... I got scared of mine because when I was sleeping and having a dream I might add a really scary noise woke me up and when I opened my eyes the furby was awake. Also when I turned it off it somehow kept on talking!! FREAKY!!

One last thing my auntie always takes away my all of our furbys just so she can play with them.

I held a furby upside down for an hour while it was complaining, then it started 'speaking in tongues' for lack of anything better to describe it, then the batteries died.

I wasn't disappointed at all.

Yes, my sister was looking forward to it for soooo long and when she finally got it, it wouldnt shut up. WE creeped around her room trying not to wake it up. Eventually it found its way to the closet where it wouldnt disturb anyone

yeh i disappointed. mostly the thing that annoyed the heck out of me was that it would not stop making noise after i was done playing with it.

my mom got me and my sister one for christmas. after about 10 mins, i wish i had asked for something cooler.
