The paint has spreaded, causing my shirt to turn greyish colour. I soaked it in fabric soap but it doesn't really work. Can I use alcohol to remove it?

Congradulations you now have a painter's shirt... which can also be used when you change oil etc.

unless spending a lot of time and money to only perhaps achieiving a good result is what you're after... if not

Soak in solution of bleach/water if 100% cotton.. too strong a solution/too long soaked and the stain AND the shirt will be gone...

I'd buy the new t-shirt and save time/money as NEXT you'll probably want the best way to get those white spots out of your blue jeans... and we're back to the paint(dye)!

Sorry. Good luck!

Why would you wear a good white t-shirt while painting?
Sorry---but it will not come out----even if it were washable paint. Use the shirt as a rag and chalk it up to experience.
You will spend more time and money trying to remove the paint that will not remove than a new shirt costs.

After you remove the visible paint with hairspray or Dawn, you can put the whole shirt through Rit Color Remover which will take it back to white.

Good luck!

If is not too late you can use an alcohol based pump hair spray with Dawn dish detergent rub it in real good. That should do the job without ruining your shirt.
