Why do we drive on parkways; pay on freeways; park in driveways; drive under overpasses on the highway; why are things that catch on fire called inflammables and packages sent on land are said 2 b shipped; draw curtains; baby-sit (As I kid, I had 2 babysit my sister. We both hated it bc she was the baby & we sat...the entire time.) Things that make u go, "Hmmmmmmmmmmm!"--Arsenio Hall

If u have kids (or even if u don't, but...), read "Pippi Longstocking" for more cute oddities.

Why don't we call it "undusting"?
