DO NOT CUT THE TREE DOWN!
It would certainly bring you allot of bad luck, happened to a friend of mine, who did it when she wanted to build a granny flat for her mum, big mistake, water pipes burst, she got up one morning to find all the tyres on her car where flat and she lives in the middle of nowhere!

That was spooky, not to mention the cat went missing and was found dead a few days later, she ended up getting an infestation of rats in the garage, oh the list goes on and on, fairy tree's are lucky and to remove one is the worse idea ever..its not worth it believe me..........

I don't know about fairy trees but when I was a boy growing up in India we had a tree that the locals said was lived in by seven spirits or "seven sisters"; when my Dad wanted to chop it down, the locals went crazy saying it would bring bad luck. People used to bring offerings and leave it at the base of the tree. Pretty weird stuff.

I'm not normally the least bit superstitious, but I don't think I could ever cut into a Rowan tree planted near a house. No idea why. Must be some sort of weird folk-memory!

What does a fairy tree look like? :0/ I use to believe in fairies when I was little, I use to sit in fields and gardes waiting to see one. He,hee!
It was a movie I watched ,I think it was called 'A Fairy Story',that brought these ideas on!,It claimed to be based on a true story.
Oh,it was great to be so young and naive!

Did my question about fairies spark this?
Anyway it should b impossible to cut it down! If you step inside a fairy ring they'll whisk you away forever. Mind you if you do end up in fairyland you'll get lots of cake. It's their favourite food!

As much as I love collecting fairy paraphernalia, I don't believe in them. I haven't seen or heard of any proof of their existence.

You can cast spells inside a fairy ring too - they're quite twinkly places!
