the most obvious benefit would be the extra income and added experiance for your portfolio the biggest disadvantage would be the lost time that you would have had with your family that is assuming that you may need the extra job in the hope that you would be providing a better life foryour family. if there is no family to take care of the second job may occupy you time for the good and keep yourself out of trouble

Well it depends on a lot of things including:
what you are doing if you work for UPS that is like a Workout and a job they only hire part time to start. If you like lifting stuff. You will be tired if you have a fulltime job. I honestly suggest something you can do in your spare time that you can get paid FAST the main point of a extra job is EXTRA cash. Sometimes the extra job you have to work a whole bunch of hours to make any money.
maybe you can make a list of your talents or skills. Figure out how someone can benefit from your skills and charge accordingly
like if you can mow yards in your area do that on SAT get yourself 2-4 yards and you can maybe mow them I used to pay a guy $40 to mow the front and back yard. It took him maybe 25 minutes in TEXAS heat on SATURDAYS he would get there in the morning. He would edge the yard in front and sometimes trim the hedges for $5 more. then my other lazy neighbors wanted a yard mower so he did like 10 houses on my street all because I saw his flier at Walmarts.
So I think you have to think outside the box.
my part time gig is EBAY I like it.. it can be fun sometimes

Advantages:
depending on the sort of job, you'll have extra income available, which can be great for alot of reasons. Also, depending on the job, it can provide valuable experience which could be applicable to other areas of life etc. Also, it will probably force you to learn good time management skills.
Disadvantages:
it can be pretty stressful, particularly if it sucks up all your free time. Taking on an extra job can wear you out and do a real number on your social life, so try to keep things balanced.

the advantage is two fold: you are adding more income plus you have less time to go out and spend the money - so you have more money because you are earning more and saving more. the disadvantage is that one job may cause conflicts with the other, loss of sleep, and loss of free time

Well advantages are more money, and the bad thing is you'd hardly have time for yourself. Sleep, and work. Not fun. Thats why its amazing to search for that ONE perfect job that pays enough.

Advantages, you get additional income.
Disadvantages, you don't sleep that much, if you have a family there will be a strain on it, and possibly your tax bracket could rise and stick you with a higher percentage of your money going to taxes.
Also, if you or any member of your household is on any sort of government aid, be prepared that they could lose it if you have a higher income.
