I am looking for a good pair of boots and have seen some at Aldo. I can't decide if I should get pointy ones or a square/round toe. My last pair was square at the front with a chunky heel. I think pointy ones with thin heels are really sexy, but wouldn't suit me - I'm short and uk size 12 (8 Canada), and i never tuck my jeans into boots. So should I get the square ones or?

Get a pair that you can get off in a hurry, because after they are off then come your pants, and that's the reason for the sexy boots, right!!

I agree with cateylady2010. I have the same problem as you do, because I'm only 62in, but a US size 8. Go with what YOU want, and what looks good on YOU. Hope this helps. Incidentally, DSW is a great place to look for shoes, along with TJMaxx, Marshalls, Lord and Taylor, Loehmanns, etc.

i disagree with all.....if you shop around you will most definitely find whatever you desire.....just shop around until you find a pair of boots that just screams at you ( whether square- or pointy toed) to take them home with you......on zappos.com they have gorgeous boots and some ugly ones but overlook those lol

both kinds are lovable yet i love the buckle ones suited. i'd placed on them with colored tights. you'll get an rather good type of opportunities to placed on them in the chilly climate which will very last for some more effective months. have exciting procuring!! : P

Get pointy toed at the ankle length so that it makes you seem taller and more elegant.

pick ones that will still be in style in a year....with any luck the real pointy ones will die a horrible death after this fall season!

well, easiest solution, is to ask someone in the shop. look for guys reaction
and then think of if this is comfortable enough and worth the trouble.

get steve madden pammy boots..check it out..in outside they look flat but inside of it the boots have 1.25 inch heels..
