Why does everybody have to keep giving out websites? Doesn't anyone actually KNOW anything? How would you calculate and delineate a chart if you didn't have a website to go? Or a computer?
I'll try to keep it brief because I don't know what your level of astrological knowledge is, or why you're asking. But if you're asking, you obviously wanna know for a reason.
So here's the condensed version, I hope.
The fixed stars give great gifts, according to William Lily, if anybody out there knows who he was. There are also fixed stars that bestow some not so great things. The ancients believed, and even the Bible tells us that God named all the stars. He counts the stars and calls them all by name, Psalm 147:4.
The Arabs, who got their knowledge of fixed stars from the ancients, are the source for nearly all the names of the stars used in western Astronomy. The ancients studied them, and it was a sacred science not available to all. And to this day, what they studied is still true. Example, the fixed star Cygnus gives a love of swimming; many Olympic swimming athletes have this star prominent, or planets aspecting such.
Basically, they are called fixed stars because their patterns in the constellations do not appear to change over long periods of time. And the longer the ancients studied them, they realized certain stars in one's chart produced certain characteristics, vibrations. Which like I said, to this day, still holds true.
So when you asked royal star means? I'm wondering if you are talking about Regulus, which is in 29 degrees Leo, a critical degree. Called by different names throughout time. But I'm sure you don't care what the Babalonians called it. And depending where it is in your chart, it will produce different results. If rising, great honor and wealth, but short lived because of scandal. You may be prone to fevers. It's a short rise to fame, but it doesn't last,. But if it aspects the part of fortune, that's a different matter. You may be a person of great acclaim and power, rise above your station in life, but your parents were downright nasty people. Depends what else aspects it. Jupiter conjunct, money comes easily to you. Aspecting the moon, success comes to you thru working with the public. In the tenth house, especially if conjunct the MC, it brings you in contact with famous, or honorable people, or rulers. One astrologer had this - Ebertein - he was an astrolger to kings, noblemen, and people in high positions. In this day and age, it's likely you reach a position of prominence; your bosses think you're the greatest, and something very, very special about one of your parents, etc., etc., etc.

That's the "old school" astrology, which is now defunct. Nothing can "promise" great success, but these Fixed Stars do at least give the desire for success, and that's halfway there. I have not, in 40 years of astrological practice, found the Fixed Stars to be of any real or practical benefit in trying to understand the chart or the individual it represents.
