Why cant ppl be together just with an understanding? No bonds in the form of marriage. No commitments. You can break up whenever you want without much fuss. Isnt it exciting?

Hi. i thing due 2 the culture of India. It is great in being relation with some. And having commitments. today we have such relations but soon they turn into marriage. And people in India are not used to such type of relationships.

Well, its a commitment from both sides. If there is love, you wouldnt want to live without that person, and marriage is a way of expressing exactly that. "I am committed to you, and I love you so much, that I can't imagine a day without you. I would like to get married so that I can accomplish that".
What you are talking about is just an affair. If you fall down on your face and have a huge scar, and arent "presentable" anymore, the guy won't feel so good about taking you around.... how different is this from an "mistress" relationship?

In countries like India, where very little social security network exists, it is the Marriege as a insitution provides this. The committment for being by side of each other under all circumstances , at bad times provides the social security that we all need. So at least i n our country, Marriage as a permanent committment is very much essential.

It depends on your mentality.
Marriage is not necessary.
You are wrong that ALL guys need a permanent relationship.
They are very happy if you are ready to give and take sex and nothing else.
It is not easy in this world of philosopy, religion, myths.
It may be exciting to you, but not easy to follow.
If you are ready to change the world - try and see.

Sometimes if you get nothing to eat out side or hotels are close,you need something at home so that you do not have to stay hungry,may be once a while.

I suppose. F*ck marriage. Piece of sh*t. I don't recommend it to anybody. Don't have the same freedom. Have to tell someone everything. Well not everything but you get the point. And about sex? Don't even get me started.

I suppose it is women's thought, not men. If men need a permanent relationship, it is just because they need women to do housework and give birth.
