In Greek mythology, Athena (Greek: Ἀθηνᾶ, Athēnâ, or Ἀθήνη, Athénē; Doric: Ἀσάνα, Asána) was the goddess of wisdom, weaving, crafts, and war. Athena's wisdom encompasses the technical knowledge employed in weaving, metal-working, and war, but also includes the cunning intelligence (metis) of such trickster figures as Odysseus.

She is attended by an owl, wears a goatskin breastplate called the Aegis given to her by her father, Zeus,[1] and is accompanied by the goddess of victory, Nike. She is often shown helmeted and with a shield bearing the Gorgon Medusa's head, a votive gift of Perseus. Athena is an armed warrior goddess, and appears in Greek mythology as a helper of many heroes, including Heracles, Jason, and Odysseus. She never had a consort or lover, and thus was often known as Athena Parthenos ("Athena the virgin"). In her role as a protector of the city, Athena was worshipped throughout the Greek world as Athena Polias ("Athena of the city"). She had a special relationship with Athens, as is shown by the etymological connection of the names of the goddess and the city.[2] The Parthenon, on the Acropolis of Athens, is her most famous temple.

Athena isn't really a word, just a name. The goddess Athena was one of the 12 major deities in Greek Mythology. She was known as Minerva in Roman Mythology.

The name Athena has no etymological interpretation.

It is a very dynamic sound though if it will pronounced correctly.
The names of Zeus, Hera, Athena, Hephaestus, Theseus and some other Gods of the Greek mythology could be used for production of dynamic sounds(aka madrams).
But the special knowledge, for the use of each specific vowel, is a must. All the above names in Grammar have "Ptwseis" except the name of "Zeus". In the 2nd "ptwsi" it becomes "Dios" and this because it should be easy to be created a "dangerous vibration" and initiated a "damage"

The goddess of wisdom, the practical arts, and warfare, and the protectress of cities, especially Athens.

In ancient Greek religion, the goddess of war, handicraft, and wisdom and the patroness of Athens. Her Roman counterpart was Minerva. Hesiod told how Athena sprang in full armour from Zeus's forehead. In the Iliad she fought alongside the Greek heroes, and she represented the virtues of justice and skill in warfare as opposed to the blood lust of Ares. She was associated with birds (especially the owl) and the snake, and she was usually represented as a virgin goddess. Her birth and contest with Poseidon for suzerainty of Athens were depicted on the Parthenon. Her birthday festival was the Panathenaea.
