I want to believe that when you really I really love someone I will always want to sleep in the same bed forever. But sometimes, there is that need for space, sometimes there is that comfortable atmosphere that people fall into and they don't think it matters if they sleep in the same bed. My mother used to kick my father our of bed all the time because he snored and she couldn't get a good nights sleep. The incentive of sex is always a plus because as you said, if men are all the same, they should always respond to sex. Lastly, just talk to him. Married couples shouldn't be sleeping in opposite bed because that is what marriage is, a shared union in all aspects of your life, including sleepy time. I have just broken up with my boyfriend of over two years and what I miss the most is the falling asleep together spooning and the waking up next to eachother's side. It doesn't matter if we are still spooning in the morning but you should be the start and end of every day. One thing that I have always found is that my boyfriend and I would sometimes get really restless before we went to sleep. I have heard that the reason some people have problems sleeping is because the bedroom should be reserved for only sleep and sex. You are not supposed to read or watch tv or anything else. Therefore, by doing those things you associate them with your bed and those associations do not involve sleep. I haven't practiced this theory yet but it kind of makes sense because it seems that the only reason your husband would not want to sleep in the same bed with you is because he gets restless and can't sleep. I don't know if any of this makes sense but I hope it helps!

Some old couples I know don't sleep in the same room together. My grandparents don't.
They sleep in rooms across the hall from eachother. But if you're not old like they are then you and your husband should be sleeping in the same room in the same bed.Now I always find my bf of 5 years always falling asleep on the sofa. And sometimes I cannot make him wake up and come to bed.And I know
that I don't sleep good at night when we are
sleeping together.Don't get me wrong I do love him but ever since I was a child I like to sleep face down and spread out.And if I can't do that I wake up stiff and sore. But if you believe that
your husband is not sleeping in the same room and bed with you because of the way he feels about you then you may have a serious problem. You may need to see a marriage counseler. And just a tip: if you can't get him in there with you then go in there with him and get in the bed with him and see what happens.Good luck to you.

I would love to sleep with a pretty woman for the rest of my life, its not all men. Give him a reason to want to sleep in the same bed as you.

If your husband is sleeping in a separate bed than you there is definitely a problem.Be open with him and ask him why he chooses to sleep in a separate room. Then tell him that you don't feel good about him sleeping without you.Good Luck.

He should want it. Maybe you two could work on your commmunication? Sounds like a long time for unsaid words and unsatisfactory behavior on both sides. Work on it! Isn't that whay you got married in the first place? Till death do you part? If you cannot talk, how can you be married? Do what makes you happy!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Unless you have major problems.....like you out weigh him, you snore, you chew on his leg......or you haven't had a shower in months.
These would make him want to sleep alone.
Another reason is, he likes to play with himself.

I think that some separation is healthy and conducive to a better relationship, although double beds could work.
