I take a cure of it and it’s written on the bottle to avoid any contact with these two materials, do you know why ?

Well the two are different compounds. Silica is inorganic while..the silicon is obviously organic making them have different properties. As to why you should avoid contact with metals..my guess would be that the silicon would tend to react with a metal, As for the glass part am not quite sure.

it can etch the glass and react with the metal. for TLC plates it's a different type of silica (like what you use in columns)

CH3Si(OH)3 + H2O ---> CH4 + Si(OH)4 or H4SiO4
Reaction would be highly exotermal and methane is obtained
