Which of the following consoles will be sucessful? Nintendo Wii, Sony PS3, or the XBOX 360.

Even though I have been a devoted PlayStation fan over the past few years, I think the X Box 360 is going to win because of their jump on the market, their ingenious achievement points and download system on X box live, and the fact that the PS3 is going to cost so much to buy and the games they had that were exclusive like GTA are now on all consoles

Well, I myself am going to buy a PS3 and a Wii. I think X-Box messed up big time, but we shall see. I mean, the only reason it was successful other than the Halo franchise was because it was the most powerful console of it's generation. Now, the PS3 will have more capabilities than the 360. So the XBox is no longer the most powerful, which means not as good graphics. The Wii, I think, is in a category all on it's own. It's graphics won't even compare to the other consoles, but they're bringing something entirely new to the table with that unique controller. I think that it will be pretty friggin' sweet, and cheap as well. Maybe the 360 will be successful though, because while it may be $400, it's still cheaper than the PS3 is gonna be (people are saying around $600!!!). The Wii is supposed to be around $200. I think Sony will prevail again...this is coming from a guy who prefers X-Box to PS2...

I would have to say that the PS3 is going to win the console wars hands down. The raw power plus the killer games that the PS3 is coming out with will put this system over the top for sure. Why do you think Microsoft put its 360 out so quickly? So they could have a head start because they know that they have to get there share now, before Sony and the Wii hit the market. If you look at the 360, it has problems with overheating and the games freeze up a lot. Plus a lot of people i have talked to said they are not that blown away with the 360. Now if you look at the Wii they will get a lot of kids to buy the system and they will get some of the people who won't pony up 599.00 for the PS3, but the graphics are weak and the games are geared for little kids. So the only big dog left will be Sony. I trust Sony a lot and they have never let me down. It cost Sony 1000.00 dollars to make the PS3 and they have spent over 3 billion dollars and put a lot of the future of the company on the line.

first of all the price for ps3 is gunna send it downward and will be the unfortunate end of sony in the gaming industry. now the x-box360 stands a great chance now that all of its problems have been fixed from the begging but my money is on the wii. it is the only of the three which is primarily based on movement where as the ps3 has movment as a side feature. also the ability to download over 20 years of games means a wide selection of play. of coarse they all have the ability to play games from the previos systems but none have quite the selection for that as the wii and in the beggining that will be all people do is play old games til they can afford new ones again and with such a selection how can the wii lose?
